The woman was not injured and brought to safety, but the experience was quite scary to witness. Another rafter who pulled the woman out of the water recorded the rescue on his GoPro. “I was pretty scared for her because I knew it was rough and I don’t want to be in the water either, so it was scary I think for everyone,” Chris Dean, who rescued the woman, said. While rafting on the Sunshine Falls area of the Royal Gorge with Performance Tours, the raft the woman was in hit fast-moving water and she got tossed out. As all rafting companies require, the woman was wearing a life vest. 2 weekend water rescues, South Metro Fire offers safety reminders “When we went into that falls we hit pretty hard and she bumped into me and fell off to the side,” Dean said. SUMMIT COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) -- Riley, an 8-year-old sheltie, is back home after he walked off his property and went missing for more than five weeks. “He was my wife's dog, so he always sleeps on her pillow. She passed away in January," Mike Krugman, Riley’s owner, said. Krugman said his property is completely fenced in with a 5-foot-tall fence. But on April 8, when Riley went out for his regular roam in the fenced area, they had just had a ton of snowfall. “We got a lot of snow that day, sure enough, I walked to the far south side of our property and we didn't have a fence it was 100% covered in snow," Krugman said. But a couple hours after Annie Comella broke a meet record in the long jump (19-02.00), the relay teams produced wins in the 4×800 (9:42.65), 4×100 (48.49 seconds) and 4×400 (4:01.96) to produce just enough to repeat.Add in second-place finishes in the 1...Latest news
