ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -Allie B. Williams has been behind toy giveaways for the last five years. With Christmas almost here, contributions from her business, The Cultural Center, and Alex’s Way haven't slowed down.From the soon-to-be-open Allie B's Fresh Fruits and Vegetables, Allie B. opened her doors to the community with hundreds of toys to gift for free. "Today, we done gave out over 300 toys in this building. It was kind of emotional because I felt like we didn’t have enough. As I can see, we do have enough because we have love," described Allie B.A few days beforehand, her generosity reached outside Albany County thanks to volunteer delivery drivers. In her first year, she was able to assist five families. UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. - An investigation is underway after one person was fatally shot Saturday afternoon in University City near a gas station. The University City Police Department says the shooting happened just after 2 p.m. in the 7400 block of Olive Boulevard near Hanley Road. Witnesses say they heard several gunshots and saw a white Buick sedan traveling westbound along Olive Boulevard soon afterwards. Police say the victim was inside the sedan just before the gunfire. City officials saw bodycam footage after police SUV crashed into bar – Source The victim was rushed to a hospital and was later pronounced deceased. Police have not yet disclosed the victim's name, age or gender. No arrests have been made at this time and no suspect information is available. This is a developing story. A Los Angeles County hospital is searching for the family of a hit-and-run victim found earlier this week.On Dec. 21, the woman was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of San Pedro and 88th Streets in South L.A. at around 6:30 p.m.She is currently hospitalized at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance where she remains intubated and sedated.No personal belongings were found on the woman to help identify her, hospital staff said.She is described as a Hispanic woman around 20 to 30 years old. She stands 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 122 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair. An unidentified female patient at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance was found on Dec. 21, 2023.
