The $90.5 million facility aims to fill healthcare gaps in northeast Austin with clinical, pharmacy, recovery and rehabilitation services. UMN President Joan Gabel to leave for Pittsburgh job after contentious fourth year President Joan Gabel is leaving the University of Minnesota to become chancellor at the University of Pittsburgh.“I am excited and filled with optimism when I think of leading this institution into its important next chapter – to taking leaps when needed, and incremental steps as necessary, to ensure that every step we take, however large or small, moves us forward,” Gabel said in Pitt’s announcement.She starts July 1.Gabel was the first woman to lead the University of Minnesota. Update on body found near Lions Park in Niskayuna NISKAYUNA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Canajoharie Police Chief Bryan McFadden has given an update regarding the body found near Lions Park in Niskayuna. The body was found Saturday around 4:05 p.m. Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! According to Chief McFadden, Niskayuna ice and water rescue responded to the Mohawk River in an airboat for reports of a body floating in the water. UF troopers from Princetown responded and noticed the body was wearing khaki pants and a green shirt. Another Canajoharie police officer at the scene took note of a tattoo on the hand of the body. Per chief McFadden, the clothing and hand tattoo appear to match those of Kevin White, who was first reported missing in January. Police say there are no signs of trauma observed at this time.

52-year-old dies after crash on Highway 100 FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. - A Villa Ridge, Missouri, man died hours after being involved in a crash Sunday along Highway 100 in Franklin County. According to a report filed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 12:40 p.m. at Highway 100 and St. Johns Road, just east of Washington.Investigators say a 2003 Ford Windstar was traveling eastbound on the highway when the driver of a 2022 Jeep Wrangler, which had previously stopped on St. Johns at the intersection, failed to yield and struck the front of the Windstar. Evidence is being handed over to the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney for potential charges. No charges have been filed by Monday morning.Officers were called to the 400 block of South 5th Street in Festus at around 11:30 p.m. on March, 31, to investigate a report of a person being shot. They were met by a 40-year-old woman, who told them she shot another woman while being assaulted.
