(KRON) -- A motorcyclist who was struck by a car on Tully Road last month has died in the hospital, the San Jose Police Department announced Monday. Officers responded to the crash involving a motorcycle and a 2000 tan Buick Sedan on Aug. 10 at around 9:15 p.m.A preliminary investigation of the crash, which occurred at Tully and Mclaughlin Avenue, revealed that a 2001 black Suzuki motorcycle was traveling west on Tully when it was struck by the Buick, which was turning left from eastbound Tully. Hundreds of drug users arrested in San Francisco There was a lone adult male riding the motorcycle at the time of the crash. The Buick's occupants, a man and woman, remained on the scene and cooperated, police said.The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with major injuries and later stabilized. (KRON) -- A man is dead after being struck by a car while walking on a sidewalk early Sunday morning in the Castlemont neighborhood, according to the San Jose Police Department.Officers responded to a crash that occurred near the intersection of Winchester Boulevard and Walgrove Way around 3:22 a.m. A 2019 Hyundai SUV was traveling northbound on Winchester Blvd. when it left the roadway, striking a man that was walking on the sidewalk.The car, which was occupied by a male juvenile, then collided with a tree on the sidewalk. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. The car the male juvenile was driving was discovered to be an unreported stolen car. A D.C. man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing on a Metro Train in Navy Yard on Sunday, Metro Transit Police said.Police said the man was taken into custody with the assistance of Arlington County Police Monday morning without incident. He will be charged with assault with intent to kill.The man is accused of stabbing a woman on board a Green Line Train at the Navy Yard Metro Station just before 6 p.m.Officials said she is being treated for critical injuries.WMATA officers said the Half Street entrance to the metro station was closed while police were on the scene, and trains were single tracking between Navy Yard and Anacostia.Trains began running normally, and the station reopened within an hour of closing.A map of the approximate location is included below.
