Can you cheer for a bad golf shot? At a Ryder Cup, sure. But during a regular PGA Tour event? We’re about to find out.Walk along the 18th hole at TPC Twin Cities this week and you’ll see a new structure on the opposite side of the large lake that fronts the final hole.This is where the party is set to take place.The 3M Open is introducing a Stilly party deck for this year’s tournament. The structure, which fits a capacity of 350 people, features lakefront views of the closing par-5. Those who pay for the upgraded tickets for access to the deck will have access to canned cocktails, the music blasted by IHeart Radio, and the athletes, celebrities and influencers slated to make appearances on the deck throughout the tournament.Welch noted spots on the party deck are still available for each day, and fans can upgrade their general tickets at the gate if they so choose.That’s all fine and good. The fifth bus carrying migrants from the Texas-Mexico border region to Los Angeles arrived at Union Station late Saturday morning. According to a statement from a spokesperson for L.A. Mayor Karen Bass, the bus arrived around 11:30 a.m. “The city has continued to work with City Departments, the county and a coalition of nonprofit organizations, in addition to our faith partners, to execute a plan set in place earlier this year,” a spokesperson for the mayor said. “As we have before, when we became aware of the bus yesterday, we activated our plan.” The first bus carrying migrants from Texas arrived in Los Angeles on June 14, with other buses arriving on July 1, July 13 and July 18. 44 migrants, including 21 children, were on the bus that arrived Saturday, the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) said. ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Dodgers ace left-hander Clayton Kershaw will throw another bullpen session Monday before facing hitters.Manager Dave Roberts said Saturday that Kershaw came out “well” after a 40-pitch bullpen the previous day. DENVER (KDVR) -- A man was shot while driving in Aurora Saturday morning, and police said the suspects were wearing ski masks.According to Aurora Police Department, the incident happened around 8 a.m. 2 trooper vehicles hit by 2 different vehicles while investigating crash A man was driving north on Interstate 225 near Alameda Avenue when he was shot, APD said.It was unclear how many suspects there were, but APD said they were driving a black Kia sedan and wearing ski masks.Police were unsure if it was a result of road rage, and did not know the color of the ski masks, APD said.The man who was shot had only minor injuries and was released from the hospital shortly after.Police are looking over surveillance footage, but are asking for help from anyone who may have information on the shooting or may have seen it happen.If you have any information, APD said to contact Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.Driver and child OK after SUV crashes into building in Miami

A dangerous drive with a toddler on board sent an SUV careening into a building in Miami.City of Miami Police units responded to the scene of the crash in the area of Northwest Seventh Avenue and 71st Street, at around 7:40 a.m., Saturday.Investigators said two people were inside the vehicle, the driver and a child.No one inside the building was injured.Bystander Aaron Combs described what he saw and how he jumped into action to help.“Well, technically all I know that this car just – the gas accelerated, he jumped the curb and went in, and I ran behind to make sure, and I see him holding the baby,” he said. “I had to go get the baby and him out. A good Samaritan jumped into action to protect a store employee and stop a suspected shoplifter.Peter Walker said he saw the employee being attacked by the assailant, who was asked to leave the store on Biscayne Boulevard and 48th Street, Saturday afternoon.The customer said he took action in order to help the victim.“The guy was acting erratic in the store, he hit one of the ladies, so I ran out and tackled him,” said Walker. “He was trying to get away, so I held him down long enough for the cops to get here.”City of Miami Police units quickly responded and arrested the suspect.The CVS employee appeared to be OK.Latest news
